Gordon Ramsay travels to Austin, Texas, home to struggling restaurant El Greco, a business in danger of imminent collapse.
El Greco is owned by mother and son Athina and Jake, and claims to be an authentic Greek restaurant.
Much to Gordon's disgust, the duo have secretly recruited 'Chef Mike' the microwave to help them out on a daily basis.
When Gordon tries the food, he discovers that it's more grease than Greece and realises some radical reworking is urgently required.
To make matters worse, the failing business has taken its toll on family relationships between Athina, self-confessed video games addict Jake, and his aunt, who helps out at the restaurant.
The whole endeavour has started to resemble a high-volume Greek tragedy. Can Gordon save the restaurant and the family?
