Gordon heads to the coastal community of Long Beach, California, to save Nino's, an Italian family restaurant that was opened in 1958 and is now under the misguided leadership of the eldest son, Nino.
Younger brother Michael and sister Carina point the finger of blame for the restaurant's failings directly at Nino, and their 78-year-old mother Inge is desperate for Nino to turn the business around.
