  1. Brilliant show....the funniest thing on Tv for sure...don't know what makes it so funny as so many different aspects make it different from any other.

  6. I have watched Peep Show since its first episode and to be honest there were a few things that bothered me in this series. Originally, it was quirky and experimental and now it seems there is a rather predictable formula. Mark is slightly over playing his abstract thoughts to the point of seeming unrealistic. Also, what was with the writing of a series with a final episode where there is no closure. It would surely have been more logical to produce more episodes rather than blatantly make the finale a cliffhanger. This was annoying. Still it remains the only show on television that actually makes me laugh out loud.

  8. I can't believe anyone would question whether Robert Webb is anything less than one half of this comedy duo. He's hilarious in this episode (and the all the others).

  10. Thank you Channel 4 for keeping all 6 series on here so us newbies can catch up on what we've been missing. The quality has in no way been effected by changes that have occurred over the series ie the dropping of Toni and introduction of Dobby and Gerard (who makes even social misfit Mark look dynamic) - was that why Gerard was created I wonder? At the beginning of series 6 the newly promoted Mark was beginning to get a little bit too big for his boots - good to see him taken down a peg or two (yes I AM British!). Just a pity changes to M&W Look weren't as beneficial - please get rid of Hennimore and bring back Digby & Ginger and snooker commentators Ted & Peter. Peep Show on the other hand continues to go from strength to strength - long may it continue!

  12. Peep Show is great, but why only 6 Episodes per season?! This is way too few. There should be at least 10 per series.

  13. I love the first comment by David Grenfell, it's so true. I agree that despite his limitations, Robert Webb deserves a credit for this and also for That Mitchell and Webb Look. Another series in which his contribution was cruelly overlooked.

  14. Chris - i completely agree with your comment. A) 6 episodes are not enough, I know the concept of keeping us wanting more but as you say 8 would be a good number if not more. And yes Robert Webb WAS the only person to deliver in that episode, it seemed that all of Mitchell's jokes/lines a were riding on Jeremy. A great shame but still I think a good episode - cant wait for the seventh series, just please boys if your only going to make 6 episodes please please make the sixth something really special!

  15. Christina I agree with you on the number of episodes lark! 6 is just a tease. Should be more in line with the shamelesses of the world ie 16! lol. Ok I'd settle for 8-12. But you gotta admit it's bloody hard to keep wirting original stuff and if anyone mastered it, they have! Bloody brilliant stuff!

  16. @Christina ... what are you talking about? 6 episodes is pretty normal for a british sitcom series length, American tv shows started the tradition of 12-24 episode seasons

  17. I cannot believe there are only 6 episodes- is this just British laziness or really bad management? It only felt like things were heating up and now we wait a whole year for more! WTF!!!!!! Best show on British tv by far.

  19. I don't think it's just because I'm sleep deprived, lonely and drunk on red wine after a perfect roast butternut squash, nutmeg and spaghetti supper, but this made me laugh, a lot!

  21. I can honestly say that I am peep shows biggest fan. I even went to Izzy Sutties standup night and made her sign a contract saying should would be my best friend (no I am not crazy) and even my husband chased down Rober Webb to get his autograph for me. Peep Show is the best show I ahve ever seen in my life so please do not take offense to what I am about to say. I was thoroughly disappointed with the last episode. It just wasn't that great compared to every other season finale. All season I ahd been thinking that it would all tie in together with rip roaring laughter like in series 4 and 5 finale. It did all come together but not in a wet yourself kind of way, more like intermittent laughter. Plus it was so open-ended. I also think that Robert Webb was the only person who really delivered in the whole episode. Furthermore, I have a more general complaint, it's bad enough only getting 30 minutes but 6 episodes!!! It's ridiculous, what happened to the good old days of 24 or even 12 episodes per season. For god sake, at least give us 8! I don;t think I am being greedy here but 6 are over before they even started.

  22. There's definitely a seventh series, was commissioned before this one was broadcast. Unfortunately we have to wait a year:( A truely brilliant series of Britain's best sitcom.

  28. erm, was that the last in the series? most (maybe all) of the other series had only 6 episodes per, and this is episode 6... didn't seem like an end of series episode to be honest, having the baby and elena staying/leaving would finish off the season nicely.
