Series 3 Summary
Jez's marriage to Nancy hits the skids as soon as Big Suze returns. Meanwhile, despite hitting her with several disciplinary issues at work, Mark takes his relationship with Sophie to the next level with a Sunday Times MegaDeal...
Mark has a run-in with some muggers, who steal his precious blackberry - and put him off his stroke with Sophie as a result... Meanwhile, Jeremy faces a tricky dilemma over the love of his life and a potential threesome.
Mark and Sophie are finally beginning to go steady when Sophie is moved away from London for work. Mark is devastated, so Sophie offers phone sex as a solution, which Mark nervously accepts. Meanwhile, Jeremy is forced to consider getting an old friend sectioned. And he soon realises sectioning could be a good way of ridding his life of other problem people...
Jeremy plans to throw a secret magic mushroom party in the flat, where he hopes to seduce his ex, Big Suze. But when Mark suddenly comes home from work with gastric flu, Jeremy's plans go to pieces. Meanwhile, in a moment of panic, Super Hans does some violent damage to the toilet door, but the builder they call in is equally unhinged.
Mark's plans for an enjoyable and productive week off work go out the window when his sister comes to stay. Jeremy clearly has the hots for her, and when Mark warns him to back off, Jeremy just wants her more... But then the shoe is on the other foot when Mark realises he has unexpected feelings for Jeremy's ex, Big Suze.
Sophie and her new gay friend, Dom, drag Mark off to a gay club, where he pretends to take drugs with the others. Meanwhile, Jeremy is on jury service - and starts an ill-advised affair with the female defendant. He soon realises his illicit girlfriend is nothing but trouble, but is then faced with a huge dilemma: should he call for a guilty verdict merely to get rid of her?
Mark is worried he's drifting apart from Sophie, so immediate action is called for: he must propose. Ever the romantic, he takes her on a mini-break to the Quantock Hills in Somerset, and Jeremy travels up to the same hotel with Super Hans, who is planning to use the weekend to go 'cold turkey'.
