Loan manager Daryl becomes Mark’s new best friend after a Saturday work session where they bond over a love of history and a mutual respect for the world view of Jeremy Clarkson.
One thing leads to another, and an outburst of juvenile office pranks leads to a night of drinking that climaxes in a brick-meets-love-rival’s-window vandalism combo perpetrated by Daryl on Mark’s behalf. If it wasn't Jeff's window, it was someone elses. Whatever.
Their friendship cemented, Mark joins Daryl for a day of WWII re-enactment, which Daryl claims to be his hobby. However, even an occasional dabbler in Nazi paraphernalia such as Mark becomes alarmed at the vigour with which Daryl plays his role as the baddies, and after a similar incident at work, the friendship ends.
Except, it doesn’t. The two are destined to meet again, for a final showdown.
