In the final episode, Michael decides that the transatlantic to-ing and fro-ing has gone on long enough and that he and Edie need to truly commit to each other to make this work. In a rash mood, he flies to New York to propose that Edie marry him and come and live in London. But she is ideologically opposed to marriage and wants them to live together on a trial basis instead - in New York.

  1. This was first on a few years ago....does anyone else remember it from then...? I loved it and hoped it would be continued with another series, then thought it had sank without trace...

  2. Ny-lon should be considered for release on DVD, not just my thoughts but that from an unofficial fan club. A general comment.... Why not create a register, whereby C4 viewers could receive an e-mail when certain programmes and series are due for broadcast... This service could feature new series eg: "Unreported World", "Location, Location, Location" or simply a repeat, namely "Ny-Lon"
