The True Stories strand, which showcases the best international feature documentaries, presents Marc H Simon and Matthew Makar's story of tears, breakdowns and hysterics - and that's just the parents.
Nursery University follows five New York families as they battle to get their toddlers into the top, most costly preschools in the city, all of which, thanks to demand, can pick and choose at will.
As well as following the families and their somewhat bewildered offspring, the film has access to the selection meetings as well as finding out about the `application consultants' who, for a cool $4,000, will groom the applicants and their parents.
Breezily amusing, Nursery University makes getting into Oxbridge look easy.
