Having given up the rat race in London for a new dream life in the south of France running a guest house, Benn and
Amy Coley have reached crisis point, and must speculate to accumulate if they're to turn things round. A New Life in France follows their attempts to expand their property empire in the face of mounting debts and soaring overheads, while trying to achieve their dream jobs as cordon bleu cook and sporty ski guide... with a baby on the way! Convinced they're pioneers in the Pyrenees and that they've discovered a goldmine in the ski resort of Cauterets, Benn and Amy go property-buying mad.
Even though they've mortgaged themselves up to the eyeballs to bag two bargain chalets, they're now chasing a third! In debt and desperate for punters, they end up advertising the chalet they don't yet own, and Benn, believing that a unique selling point - extreme adventure - is key, sets out to learn how to make an igloo for the night.
