After three years in southwest France, Benn and Amy Coley face a harsh reality: that they are not making enough money from their guesthouse in Biarritz alone.
They suffer a winter spent apart as Benn is forced into commuting back to London for work. Now, with a baby on the way, they're determined not to give up on the dream of a life in France. But something has to change if they're not to end up forced to return home.
They throw every penny they've got into buying up ski chalets in the nearby Pyrenees, gambling their future on the success of a little-known ski resort called Cauterets. Will this high-risk strategy work, or will their dreams melt away in the snow-capped mountains?
