It's a trip down memory lane for Earl, Randy, Joy, Darnell and the Crab Shack regulars when they remember their 15 minutes of fame watching a 2003 repeat of the TV show Cops , which was filmed in Camden County.
It's the first Independence Day since the September 11th attacks and Camden County is defying the war on terror with the mother of all-American celebrations. There's an Osama dunk tank, Didi's selling Osama toilet paper, Patty's selling herself for an hour and there's free lap dances for service men and women at Chubbys!
Fortunately for the crew of Cops a certain pair of brothers see July 4th as a chance to make a fast buck, although with predictably poor results; Randy gets his head stuck in a cotton candy machine, and their sheepdog disguise is less than convincing. It's all great TV...
That is until Officers Daniels and Hoyne are about to cap the weekend with a monster firework display to celebrate being inadvertently given 50,000 dollars worth of anti-terrorism toys. But then they discover the whole lot has been nicked, and Earl and Randy are nowhere to be seen...
