Running the team at the agency is retired recruitment exec Gill (65), former city worker Mo (70), ex-bookkeeper Shirley (78), and sales exec Maggie (67).

    Episode 1 - Caterers, Hairdresser and Make-Up Artist

    With the hospitality industry worth £80 billion in the UK, Mary decides it is definitely a trade worth going for and uncovers an opportunity for her team to cater a Great Gatsby-themed party.

    The agency's ads for potential caterers generate a healthy response, including former pub landlady Dawn (68), veteran home cook Phyllis (91), and Salim (68), former head barman at The Savoy.

    Alongside the caterers, there's also retired hairdresser Paul (65), formerly of Harrods, and retired make-up artist Sandra, whose first client is Rianna, who wants to look perfect for her 21st birthday party.

    Episode 2 - Gardeners and Builders

    Mary's agency lands a job redesigning a garden in Ruislip. Mary drafts in three OAP builders for some decking, including Raimondo (72) a retired builder with a rebellious past, who has since become a Buddhist.

    Mary puts together a gardening team including Norma (74) a member of the Royal Horticultural Society; Gloria (71), who tends the garden at her local charity; Robert (82) whose garden is regularly thrown open to the public; married couple John (81) and Maureen (73); and Annie (77) a former interior and landscape gardener.

    Back at the office, Tony (82), a retired RAF drill sergeant, is looking to become a personal trainer. And ex-Savoy recruit Salim takes a job as head barman for the opening night of a new bar in Canary Wharf.

    Episode 3 - Builders, Decorators and Designers

    Mary puts together a team of retired builders and designers and gets them to pitch for a refurb project on a north London house. But not all of them like being ordered around and sparks start to fly.

    The team includes Terry (71), a retired electrician who misses the camaraderie; Sydney (80), a retired joiner who did wooden interiors for Rolls Royce and Bentley; David (65), an ex-builder who project managed several multi-million pound new build developments; and Anne (82) a retired interior designer who did million pound projects in the UK and Dubai.

    Retired fashion designer Hilary (66) goes for a trial run at a high-end alterations boutique in west London.

    And the gardeners seek advice from Mary about setting up business.
