Lucy in Disguise is the vintage clothing boutique set up in 2010 by Lily Allen and her half-sister, Sarah Owen.
Their aim was to make vintage style attainable for everyone. So they set out to create a place where their customers can buy or hire desirable pieces from whichever decade they choose.
The name 'Lucy in Disguise' was the suggestion of Lily and Sarah's mother, Alison Owen. Whilst visiting Dorset, Alison called up her daughters after finding an old romance novel with the same name, saying. 'I've found the name of your shop!'
That very book is now framed in pride of place on the counter of the sisters' flagship store in Covent Garden.
