Kirstie's Fill Your House For Free
About the Show
Kirstie Allsopp helps people transform their homes with furniture that's been sourced for free
Series 2 Summary
Kirstie returns for a second series to show that just because it's free, doesn't mean it can't be fabulous.
Episode 1 - Hannah and Andy and Arfa and Salim
Kirstie and the team help Hannah and Andy from Bedfordshire, whose maxed-out mortgage means cash is in short supply for making a functioning family room, a sewing studio for hobbyist Hannah, and a man cave where Andy can work from home.
Also visiting Kirstie's store are married first-time buyers Arfa and Salim. They have a sitting room furnished with just a rug and four cushions. But Arfa is dead against second hand. Can the team convince them otherwise?
Episode 2 - Louise and Ferne and Peter
Kirstie comes to the rescue of Louise, whose first-time flat purchase has turned into such a money pit that she's moved back in with her parents, renting out the flat's only habitable bedroom to cover the mortgage.
Young lovebirds Ferne and Peter have only kitted out the bedroom in their new home so far and need to get cracking on the rest of their flat.
And Kirstie discovers ways to decorate on the cheap when she visits a Somerset cottage owned by film set designers.
Episode 3 - Emma and Darren and Angela
Kirstie Allsopp helps transform Emma and Darren's home in Worcester - which is a bit of an 80s time warp - into a colourful family home. The team helps transform an old kitchen and a sitting and dining room that has seen better days.
The team also help Angela Stephenson, who has devoted everything to her children and left herself with a bedroom that's falling apart.
Episode 4 - Christine & Chris and Helen
Kirstie helps young couple Christine and Chris furnish their first time buy - a tenement flat in Glasgow. Graphic Designer Chris has some out-there ideas, so it's up to Kirstie and co to bring them into line and match what's achievable.
Single mum-of-two Helen Wade has moved back to the UK after spending the last 14 years in France, and wants to turn her bedroom into a lovely sanctuary for herself but also a workspace.
Episode 5 - Samantha and Stacey and Dave
Kirstie sets out to help Samantha from Eastbourne, who wants to give her local authority flat some personality. However, she'll only have free goods that look new, and she knows exactly what she wants.
The team also head to Wales to help Stacey and Dave from Wrexham, who need a new kitchen - which is the hardest room in the house to furnish for free.
Repurpose specialist Charis demonstrates how to bag a Belfast sink at no cost, and furniture hacker Max proudly creates a free mixer tap and a whole kitchen island, saving hundreds of pounds.
Episode 6 - Jasbinder and Windsor
In west London, Kirstie helps single mum Jasbinder create a family bathroom and a shared bedroom for two girls with polar opposite tastes.
In Windsor, Kirstie and Charis help a family hit by recent flooding to create a fantastic graffiti-inspired bedroom for a teenager.
