The Katie Piper Foundation
Katie has set up the Katie Piper Foundation to help other burns victims like her. She aims to support existing burns rehabilitation centres across the UK and introduce similar aftercare treatment that she received at La Mallou, South of France, as standard in this country. The Foundation also aims to encourage people to accept burns victims and people with disfigurements in our society. Any donations will go towards helping Katie fulfil these aims.
Changing Faces
Changing Faces is a charity offering support and information to anyone with disfigurements to the face, hands or body, as well as their families. Their helpline offers trained advisors.

The support network for people with facial disfigurement, their families and friends.
The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre
Offers support and information for anyone who has been raped or sexually abused, however long ago, as well as their family. Call the helpline 0808 802 9999 (free, confidential, every day of the year 12 noon to 2.30pm and evenings 7pm to 9.30pm).
For regional support for men or women go to the Rape Crisis website, which provides information on police and court procedures.
Victim Supportline
Provides support for anyone who has been affected by a violent or sexual assault. Call 0845 30 30 900 (local rate, Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7pm, Bank Holidays 9am to 5pm). Email info@victimsupport.org.uk
Carers UK
Gives advice on all aspects of caring for an ill or disabled loved one. Call CarersLine 0808 808 7777 (free). Ring this number at any time to leave your details and have an information pack sent to you, but if you'd like to speak to an adviser call on a Wednesday or Thursday 10am to 12 noon or 2pm to 4pm.

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority
A Government organisation that can provide compensation to people who have been injured as the innocent victim of a violent crime. Visit their website to find out if you qualify for compensation, or call 0800 358 3601 (free, Friday 8.30am – 8pm, Saturday 9am – 1pm)
Acid Survivors Trust International
ASTI is a UK based charity dedicated to rehabilitating survivors with an integrated approach while addressing the crime of acid and burns violence in an international context.
