What most people consider as rubbish, the eccentric Willesden resident and film director Mark Craig embraces. He traces the story of unsolicited flyers back to the real people who set out to infiltrate his letterbox.
With an open mind, but tongue firmly in cheek, Mark's journey leads him to some of the usual suspects - estate agent, pizza shop owner, organic food distributor, Jehovah's witness. But as a result, at times, he has his preconceptions challenged.
As each real character talks of their world, and their personal take on life, he begins to see that if he were in their shoes, he too would inconvenience his fellow townsmen with junk mail to spread his message. What emerges from his forensic analysis of these unloved leaflets is a strong sense of community and common humanity.
