Take Me Back went to number three in the UK charts, then his third single featuring N-Dubz, Number One, went to number one, followed shortly by Never Leave You. His second album, Catch 22, debuted in the charts at number two and went gold in 2009. The Star In The Hood  clothing label, made by Tinchy, initially began as a few t-shirts designed to promote his debut album but the range is now stocked in 60 stores in the UK. Tinchy recently set up a worldwide entertainment company with Jay-Z called Takeover Roc Nation, handling management, merchandise, records and live appearances for its artists.

Background, hobbies & interests: Born Kwasi Danquah on 14 September 1986 in Ghana, Stryder started at the age of 14 on pirate radio in east London, with other MCs such as Wiley and Dizzee Rascal. His stage name derives from the arcade game Strider which he played when he was young and from the nickname ‘Tinchy’, given to him due to his height - he is 5’1”.
