Jake's Progress

Series 1 Episode 1
First Broadcast: Thu 12 October 1995

Jamie Diadoni was almost a rock star in the 60s but it never quite came together. Now, married to Julie, and redundant from his job, he stays at home with son Jake, aged 6 and takes him to the local playground, surrounded by admiring mothers.

Meanwhile, Julie works all hours as a nurse to make ends meet. This is a family in quiet danger, with finances and relationships at breaking point and about to encounter a set of circumstances that will change their three lives forever.
