The first episode in a new series of the highlights show travels to Melbourne, Australia for the Ironman Asia Pacific Championships.
This show focuses on the European male favorites Marino Vanhoenacker, Dirk Bockel, Luke McKenzie and three-time world champion Craig Alexander, racing in his last ever full-distance Ironman.
There's also plenty of excitement in the women's field as Caroline Steffen, Mary Beth Ellis, Asa Lindstrom and Kim Schwabenbauer battle it out for the title.
This edition has highlights from one of Ironman's most prestigious races as nearly 3000 athletes from 55 countries test their limits at the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt, Germany.
The competition is fierce as reigning 70.3 world champion Sebastian Kienle of Germany races King of Kona Frederik Van Lierde. And while many eyes will be on Beijing Olympic champion Jan Frodeno as he tackles his first full Ironman, Andreas Raelert is hungry for victory having gone a year since winning his last title.
In the women's race, European champion Camilla Pedersen is back to business but faces a stellar line-up including Jodie Swallow, Caitlin Snow and Gina Crawford ready to snatch the title away from her.
Ironman Europe lands in Zurich, Switzerland where race director Nico Aeschimann talks about the course and the question of who will take the crown of the absent seven-time Zurich winner Ronnie Schildknecht is answered. Can Switzerland's Jan van Berkel step up to the challenge or does former world champion Pete Jacobs have a shot at a podium finish?
There's also an introduction to some of the women's favourites like Sonja Tajsich and Kristin Moeller and all the race action from this European Ironman classic.
Ironman heads to one of the most scenic events in the calendar: Mont Tremblant in Quebec, Canada, where the North American Championship is being held for the second time.
For Europe's elite athletes it's all about grabbing one of the final few places for the World Championships in Kona. Daniel Halksworth of the UK, Jan Van Berkel of Switzerland, Andreas Raelert of Germany and 2013 winner Luke Bell of Australia go in the men's race, while in the women's four-time Ironman France champion Tine Deckers of Belgium has high hopes for a podium finish.
The Ironman 70.3 World Championship comes to Mont Tremblant, Canada - the first ever Ironman World Championship race held outside the US.
Can Germany's Sebastian Kienle defend the title for a second time and claim his third consecutive Ironman 70.3 World Championship? Or will fellow German Jan Frodeno, four-time ITU World champion Javier Gomez and Great Britain's Tim Don step up to the challenge and battle it out with Kienle?
And introducing some of the women's favourites such as the in-form Daniela Ryf from Switzerland, Great Britain's Jodie Swallow and Canada's Heather Wurtele, plus all the race action from the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.
