Terrence Howard stars in Craig Brewer¿s drama as Djay, a small-time pimp trying to make a living in Memphis who aspires to be a rapper. When he hears a successful hip-hop artist is coming to town, he¿s inspired to lay down a demo with the help of his friend Key (Anthony Anderson) and sound man Shelby (DJ Qualls).
