  2. Thank you, thank you, thank you. As someone going in for breast surgery to remove cancerous tumour a few days after this program was aired, I was more than a little anxious about a possible mastectomy. I loved the honesty of this program and advice given and came away from it saying that I wouldn't bother with reconstruction - be proud! Thank you. I don't know if you've found the Scar Project also... what beautiful and inspirational ladies. www.thescarproject.org

  3. Please pass on my complete admiration to Kelly and her rise to becoming a beautiful confident glowing heroine. I cried all the way through this episode. My heart went out to Kelly, what a pitiful little lady she was before Gok got his hands on her. Well done Gok in turning her life around. What a brave lady. Truly to be admired.

  4. Thank you so much Kelly for sharing your tears and joy with us. I missed the first programme and was really keen to see this one as I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer and am waiting to be admitted for my surgery. I have no idea where this is going but you made me feel much more positive. Thanks again.

  6. Hi Gok, I am a 16 year old girl who lacks confidence especially when it comes to relationships as i can never feel beautiful or sexy. I can never find clothes to suit me or my figure. People say that i'm beautiful and that i have a nice figure but when I look in the mirror I dont see what they see. I see someone who hasnt got a idea how to dress and has shiny skin and dark circles, i dont suffer from spots or anything though. I would love to hear / meet you! Much Love xxx

  9. I also missed the 1st programme as I did'nt think I could watch it !! I have just seen Kelly and was glad I did;nt miss this show. I have had breast cancer and various amounts of surgery over the past 15 years and had a left mascetomy. It was a joy to watch Kelly and certainly an inspiration to watch her transform. Having experienced everything Kelly went through emotionally myself she gives us all hope. I too would love to know where she got the padded bra, to enable her to wear strapless dresses. I bought a few years ago a strappless mascetomy bra, but found my prostesis too heavy for itand it hung forward. I think everyone will agreee we all need to share tips like this to enable us to wear the clothes we used to pre surgery. I have recently found Marks and Spencer sell mascetomy bras in larger stores and was delighted to go and choose a bra and boy over the counter. They are very comfy and reasonable for everyday wear. Thanks once again to the lovely Kelly for all she has done.

  10. What an inspiration to all women that have had breast cancer. I too had breast cancer last year. I finished all my treatments in May this year. I had a lumpectomy and also my lymnodes removed. I have too awful scars and cannot lift my arm or wear t shirts as the scars are purple and horrible. Out of the cancer i have now started to design and make headscarves and soft hats for women that are losing their hair through treatments so one positive has come out of the whole episode in my life. I try and live every day to the max now but still feel very consious. Last nights episode was amazing.

  12. I missed the first programme, but have just watched Kelly. I to hate my body as I have had a right mastectomy and also have radiation burns. I always wear clothes that cover me to the neck. I find that nothing lies right with the prothesis and my own boob is higher than the prothesis. I would also like to know where Kelly got the padded bra so that she could wear that beautiful pink dress.

  13. INSPIRATION!!!!!!!! Has made me feel so much better. I am cuurently undergoing chemo for breast cancer and finding it really hard I have had a double mastectomy at 33 years old and will have reconstruction next year after the chemo and radiotherapy!! Kelly you are an inspiration I am feeling so rubbish after the second chemo hair falling out and my body no longer feels like mine, I just want to get on with life with my two little girls and husband but feel like everythings on hold. But I have just watched your programme and feel a million times better. There is life after this awful disease. You are truly an inspiration to women and Gok you have filled me with confidence to go out and get clothes that fit properly for the next 12 months. I am not going to hide away!! Thank you for a truly inspirational programme and Kelly keep up the great work for breast cancer!! XX

  15. I also have had a mastectomy but unlike Kelly have always been body confident, possibly as I have been a naturist for many years. It is 14 years since my mastectomy and I still go naked on our local naturist beach. Due to there not being the attractive lingerie about 14 years ago, my step-daughter and myself set up in business, supplying and fitting lingerie and swimwear to ladies who have had surgery. Although I am now retired my step-daughter still does hospital clinics and fits ladies by appointment. We are known to Serita Rishi. I myself have been featured in several newspapers over the years as well as on local TV. We have also done talks for cancer support groups, nurses, WI´s etc. I enjoy your programme very much, it is an inspiration to a lot of ladies and I wish a lot more people would be confident with their bodies.

  22. Thank you so much for bringing a smile to my face. Each episode means something different to me, but the episode featuring Kelly whose life had changed after her breast cancer surgery, well I am just so moved. It was absolutely inspirational not only for those that have been stricken with breast cancer but for all of us, it has made me so humble. GOK, I love you.... I may not have been "goked" as I know only a few are lucky enough to get chosen. BUT I still love you GOK!

  23. Truly awesome story. You are a real inspiration. You made a 17 stone rugby player cry! I had testicular cancer myself, and although I am well aware of the fact that breast cancer is so much harder to deal with for women, I think I can understand a little of what you went through. Great to see you fight back. Go girlfriend!

  27. I was reminded howI felt after my op, like kelly.I was reminded that I should and could dress well and look glamorous too. This is because I went through a period of hiding behind clothes that hid my body rather than enhansed my good bits.Kelly looked great in that dark frilly dress, her longlegs in dark tights and the silver shoes, really feminine.Great! i plan to get married next year, and hope I too can be transformed for that day and even more so on that day.I will keep on watchin the remainder of the programmes. Thanks Gok

  28. Kelly is an inspiration to us all. Gok, you are the personification of cool anyway but the fact you have championed such an important cause is astounding. who would have thought a programme about naked women could be such a powerful tool in the fight against cancer?
