In all his years of bringing body confidence to the ladies of the UK, you'd think Gok had seen it all... until this week, when he takes on his first male makeover. And it is no easy ride.

35-year-old Simon Wainwright is so repulsed by his body, he lives like a recluse. Diagnosed with Sheuermann's Disease at the age of 14, Simon had a curvature of the spine that just kept getting worse as he got older. In March 2008, with his spine at an agonising 96 degree curve, he finally got the operation he'd always wanted.

This should have been the start of a new life for Simon, but though it has corrected his spine, it hasn't fixed the self-esteem issues he's always struggled with. After the operation his confidence crashed to zero. With a straight back he has become two inches taller, and he feels thin and unattractive.

Desperate to look bigger, Simon layers up, wearing five T-shirts at a time - even on the beach in the height of summer. Most of the time, he is so unconfident he rarely leaves his bedroom. Though he was once the life and soul, his mates haven't seen him in months and his parents are desperately worried about him.

Now Simon's going to meet his match in Gok, but he's not letting go of those layers without a fight. Can Gok do the undoable and get the first guy ever down his catwalk - naked?
