Most women would love to be 5ft 10, apart from 44-year-old Ruth. She's grown up being told she's 'big' and thinks she looks like a man with no waist or boobs.
The only time she has felt womanly in her life was when she was pregnant with each of her four children.
Ruth got married and had her first child at 19. Having devoted her entire adult life to her family, with her kids growing up and leaving home, Ruth's facing huge changes. She's lost all confidence to do things on her own and hides her body under shapeless, maternity style clothes.
Now it's time for her to do her own growing up and start discovering herself, but will Gok be able to peel off years of self-hate in order to get Ruth on her very own runway in front of thousands?

Ruth's Hair
Ruth's hair was dyed dark mahogany all over to cover her grey roots, then some caramel and honey highlights were added through the top section to add movement and texture. Her locks were treated to a clear gloss to give an amazing shine. A colour care shampoo and conditioner were used after the colour, as well as heat conditioning treatment. A smoothing blow dry lotion was applied to wet hair, then blow-dried through using a vent brush. The whole look was finished off with a shine and definition wax.
