In the third episode of How to Look Good Naked, former pole-vaulter Charlotte battles with the surgery that has left the 34-year-old with scars both on the outside and within.
Her bright pink walking cane hints at the sassy fashion retail manager she used to be but the rest of Charlotte's confidence is on the shelf.
At home the mirrors are all set too high so she doesn't have to face herself, and despite living less than a mile from the beach, Charlotte avoids taking daughter Lana, as that would mean having to strip off.
Her first husband didn't get a look in either, and now she's found love again, Charlotte's frightened her total lack of body confidence will drive him away. Fortunately, Gok's on hand to convince Charlotte that those scars should only be skin deep.

Charlotte's Hair
"Charlotte had a full head of hair extensions giving her three times as much hair as before. They were micro-fiber extensions, which are great to blend in with fine hair. I then cut her hair and the extensions into a lovely jaw-hugging bob, with some texture through the back to give it more movement. A volume shampoo and conditioner were used, then a volumising spray while the hair was still wet. After rough drying the hair, it was smoothed out with a large round bristle brush. We finished with a clay mixed with a wax to create a textured finish," says hairdresser Jamie Stevens.
