To the outside world, 38 year-old April Jewkes has the slender, trim, toned body of a lifelong ballet dancer, but all she could see was a little girl who'd never grown up.
Even being mum to toddler Toby still didn't make April feel like a woman. The death of her mum, who was also her best friend, brought things to a head and made her realise just how much she needed help.

April's Hair
A very dark brown semi-permanent colour was applied all over with a clear gloss for maximum shine. April's hair was shampooed and conditioned using products specifically designed for coloured hair, then some volume moose was added to the wet hair before blow-drying using a medium-sized paddle brush to create body through the roots. Some strong fix hairspray then finished the look.
