2. Missed the programme but watched the clip, i would love a house and swimming pool like that 4 my kids, i try and get them what they want 2 the point that i miss out on things 4 myself. Would love a new car. we r happy and that is the main thing even though im up 2 my eyeballs in debt that i just cant pay back no matter how hard i try.

9. I wish Brandon had been lucky enough to have more caring parents. Parents who'd put him first. Parents who worked hard to provide for him. He deserves better. He comes last in this family and what's more he knows it. That's a terrible scar on a child.

I watched this programme last night! it was so good but was really sad and i thought the wealthier family were very generous offering their money to Brandon and his family. it was really sad whenever Brandon had said that he doesnt have a bedroom and that he has to live in the living room. i thought the children coped very well with what was happening. what annoyed me the most to be hones was whenever Michaela went on and bought herself a £400 laptop and didn't even think of her children and the fact that the other family actually gave them a further £2000 to spend on the children i thought that was just lovely and i am glad that Brandon was able to get his clothes. i wish Michaela, Shaun, Brandon and Marcus all the best in the future. 12. Wow, i loved watching this. Really does show you how different the world is in our own country. What suprised me was how well brandon coped with it, proberly because he knew nothing different. Suprised how well the richer families kids were. The boy was so cute how he cared, just seeing the family react to watching that DVD, really did suprise me. I sort of expected them to not care as such, but just shows they were brought up correctly :)

13. What lovely children Shaun and Michaela have. What on earth was MIchaela thinking buying a laptop when her boys need new shoes and clothes. What an insult, buying her oldest a broken game and little one a plastic toy when she spent ?400 on herself, so much so that the other family felt that they had to give extra so that the boys could benefit. I just hope that they are sensible with that money and not spend it stupidly. Why are they smoking when they cannot afford to put shoes on their sons feet, and clothes on their backs, get your priorities right! It is a good lesson for the kids of the other family that they learn about life and that not everone lives in the way that they do and to appreciate what they have.

14. what annoyed me was when michaela knew her son needed new shoes and a coat for both kids and she bought herself a laptop so she can setup her business well i cant see that every happeneing and did she really need a webcam and a bag , outrageous

15. this was so sad!! think your right to an extent about the money, the laptop was a disgrace but the little boy brandon is such a perfect child, so grateful for everything, its heartbreaking to watch them have nothing

Just watching this now and what an insult to those people in this country actually living in poverty...these people are simply bad at managing money - why doesnt she work if she can 'set up a business' why does the little boy not sleep in the other bed in the bedroom with his brother like thousands of other children do....the first episode showed a lady on her own with young children, no partner, and living on less than 800 pound a month - this couple have an income of nearly 1700 pound - why dont they stop smoking if theyre so poor - disgraceful and I feel for the family trying to do their best to help, when there are people who really need it.
