Save the Children: UK Child Poverty Appeal
In the UK, 1.4 million children live in severe poverty. With rising food and heating costs over the last 12 months this means a family of four have to feed themselves on £20 a week. Save the Children has declared a 'crisis' for families in the UK, as it partners with UK charity Family Action to distribute cash grants to around 1000 families who are struggling in the recession. The Frank Buttle Trust
The Frank Buttle Trust is the largest UK charity providing grant aid solely to individual children and young people in desperate need.
