Episode 1 - Pilot
Ted is spurred on to find love when his best friend Marshall proposes to his girlfriend Lily. Later, Ted meets Robin and soon is smitten.
Episode 2 - Purple Giraffe
Ted feels desperate when Robin doesn't turn up to a party he invited her to - and vows to continue throwing parties until she does.
Episode 3 - Sweet Taste of Liberty
Ted relents and lets Barney spice up his love life, resulting in a crazy adventure flying to Philadelphia.
Episode 4 - Return of the Shirt
Ted's views on life and love change after he finds a shirt that he used to hate and realises that he now rather likes it.
Episode 5 - Okay Awesome
Ted investigates the club scene with Barney and Robin. Marshall and Lily try to be more 'grown up' as their wedding day approaches.

Marshall and Lily book their dream wedding venue. Lily and Robin sneak into a prom to hear the band Marshall wants to play at the wedding.
Episode 21 - Milk
It's Ted's 28th birthday and he is finally called back by the match-making service who now say they've found his dream woman.
Episode 22 - Come On
Ted is desperate for Robin to cancel her camping trip. Meanwhile, Lily accepts her internship and breaks up with Marshall after a blazing row.
