Naïve Scott notices the tension between Lily and Diane and tells them to make it up, unaware that it’s because Lily thinks Diane was having an affair with his dad… Awks.

Scott’s mum, Lynette turns up at Diane and Tony’s flat for dinner. Of course, Diane panics that it has something to do with Lily’s accusation but Scott says that he needs his mum around after losing John Paul.

Scott has one too many drinks and makes an emotional speech in front of Lynette, Tony, Diane and Lily about how wonderful his Auntie Diane has been.

All the family worry about Scott's increasingly outlandish behaviour. Scott then presents Diane with an unusual gift…

Elsewhere, it’s re-launch day at The Dog and Marnie is back to being Mac’s dutiful wife. Mac gets cold feet about his speech but Marnie keeps encouraging him to do it for Nathan.

Lisa overhears Mac practicing his speech and is sickened; she reminds him that it’s their fault Nathan is dead. Later, Mac takes to the stage for his speech at The Dog but something freaks him out.

After Mac fumbles with the speech, Marnie convinces Mac to slow down and let Ellie run the pub. After some thought, Mac agrees her.

Meanwhile in the village, Amy is confused when her wedding flowers turn up, sure that she’d cancelled them. She’s flustered when more wedding confirmations start coming through.

Later, Ryan returns and proposes to Amy again, watched by an irritated Ste, but what will she say?

Amy doesn’t believe that Ryan left a voicemail for her before he left, unaware that Ste deleted it. Ryan is desperate to get the kids to understand but will Ste help him out?

In the Lomax house, Zack turns up to check on Leela and offers to stay when Peri and Courtney leave. Peri is suspicious that her mum and Zack have something going on.

DS Armstrong arrives and doesn’t dispel Leela’s fears that Zack could be her stalker. When she bumps into Zack outside The Bean, Leela orders him to leave her alone, now adamant that he is tormenting her. But is she right?
