1. Who are your heroes (real and comic) and why?
My Dad. He got me started and always encouraged me when others thought it was a childish dream that I would ever draw Dredd.
Judge Dredd - he just doesn't take any shit. Whatsoever.
2. What are your career highlights so far?
I've been very lucky with my work and hope I've chosen projects carefully. As a result I can say there are may hightlights but I've particularly enjoyed making contributions to the Nemesis the Warlock series & Heavy Metal Dredd (with Simon Bisley - albumisation out April 2009). I was also quite proud of finishing off the Zombie World Series successfully for Dark Horse Comics. And I've had work exhibited at the V&A on more than one occasion. I'm honoured to have worked almost exclusively with Pat Mills.
Outside of comics, most recently I co-directed a music video, Dream Killer, for Cause4Concern, with one of the directors of Here's Johnny, Adam Lavis. It was awesome, and nearly put me off drawing!
3. If you could be a comic character, who would you be and why?
I'd have to be Dredd. Because I can just relate to him for some reason.
