Michael and Phil used the following suppliers to create their rural idyll
The architect for this project was Sara Guardhouse of TAATE.
Large black and red artwork in the living room by Terry Frost.
Red and white artwork in the bedroom was by Rob Ryan.
The bathroom fittings were supplied by UK Bathroom Warehouse.
The painting and decorating works were completed by S.J.R Decorators Ltd.
The electrical works throughout the building were provided by P.A.D. Electrics.
The steel fireplace in the main living space was supplied by Smith Whinney Blacksmiths.
The polished concrete floors throughout the building were completed by Lazenby.
The large sliding glass window and circular roof light were supplied by Cantifix.
The rest of the glazing in the building, including the bi-folding doors in the kitchen were supplied by Aluminium Manufacturing Ltd.
The wildflower meadow roof above the guest room was supplied by Wildflower Turf Ltd.
Ground source heat pump
The ground source heat pump system was supplied by Nu-Heat.
Ground works + waterproofing
The ground works and the waterproofing of the basement slab was completed by JGB Groundwork Ltd.
The ceiling lighting system was provided by Cirrus Lighting.
The lintel above the fireplace started out as a fallen log from one of Phil and Michael’s Oak trees and was transformed by Craig Narramore.
The main contractors that took on this project were Greenham Construction.
Plastering and rendering
The plastering and rendering works throughout the building were provided by Dale Bird of RNB Plastering.
The plumbing works throughout the building were provided by Hampstead Heating.
The steel pond structure was supplied by Smith Whinney Blacksmiths.
The rubber roof membrane that also covered the rear of the building was supplied and fitted by AAC Waterproofing Ltd.
The steel staircase leading up to the main living space in the building was supplied by Smith Whinney Blacksmiths.
The steel frame for the building was supplied by Alpine Group.
The stone table in the garden outside the kitchen was supplied by Garden Art Plus Ltd.
The structural engineers on this project were CBE Ltd.
The Tadelakt applied to all the wet room walls was provided by Decoplast.
The new trees planted on the property were supplied by Majestic Trees.
