Series 2 Summary

Gordon Ramsay's big, bold and fast-paced food magazine show returns for a second series - fuelled by the irrepressible energy and passion of its host. This time round there's even more jeopardy for the man who can't resist a challenge when he is joined in the kitchen by a different bunch of amateur cooks, who face the awesome challenge of cooking and serving a three-course dinner for a restaurant full of diners.

  • Episode 1

    Gordon Ramsay is joined in the kitchen by foodie Kathy Burke, where he faces a tough Recipe Challenge.

  • Episode 2

    Janet Street-Porter throws down the gauntlet in the recipe challenge; and there's the already notorious meeting between Gordon and Sir Cliff Richard, when Gordon invites him to deliver his verdict on several wines - including, unbeknownst to him, one of his own.

  • Episode 3

    Darren Gough takes Gordon on in the recipe challenge. Gordon tries to get Jeremy Clarkson out of the car to cook Sunday lunch.

  • Episode 4

    Dermot O'Leary is in the kitchen for the recipe challenge, taking on Gordon with his Irish Stew (with a little help from his mum).

    John Thomson takes on Gordon in the recipe challenge, bringing his favourite kitchen gadgets with him and the time has come to say goodbye to the pigs as Gordon takes Trinny and Susannah to the slaughterhouse.
