In Newcastle, Gok gets to the bottom of Ali Kennedy's wardrobe, which is full to bursting with sale bargains that she never wears. He shows her how she can shop wisely and still look good every day of the week.

Back in Rotherham, the larger lasses take to the dancefloor to put several frocks through their paces and find their favourite high-street choice in sizes 16-28.

Will funny man Alan Carr succumb to a manly makeover as Gok attempts to update his comedy wardrobe in a high-street shopping trip? And in the designer versus high street catwalk showdown, will the public vote for the high end/high budget collection sourced by designer diva Brix Smith-Start, or for Gok's 'get the look for less' high-street equivalents?

  4. During the episode featuring Ruby Wax (May 20th?), at one point Gok sprays red paint on some shoes. Did he use ordinary paint such as that used for wood or metal? Or was it paint specially for shoes? I have a similar problem with some cork soled mules and have been searching the shops for shoe dye without results. I adore Gok, and his new show is wonderful, as is he: so talented and honest, yet with a sweetness and graciousness that disarms and makes everyone love him. Gok, you light up our TV screens, and I wish I had a son just like you!

  7. I love this programme and try never to miss it. Can anyone remember that lovely full length dress, multicoloured, strap instead of sleeves, teamed with blue wrap (pashmina?) I am unable to go to the shops myself and cannot find this dress on the internet

  32. Can anyone tell me where the red chanel inspired jacket was from? I thought M&S and just checked out there website and it is not there :( It was one of the top 5 features. Also my sister loved the floral skirt combo....so looking forward to finding out about that too :)
