A-line skirts are really versatile.
They're great for slimming a wider waistline if you're an apple shape. If you’re pear-shaped, a flat fronted, A-line skirt will remove emphasis from the width of your hips.
An A-line skirt will balance out a larger bust by creating curves on your bottom half, and A-line skirts that fall just below the knee make the most of slim calves and ankles. For straight-up-and-down ladies, the A-line skirt helps create a curvy, womanly shape.
However, A-line skirts are not so good if your problem area is your bottom - they can make you look bigger rather than defining and making the most of your shape!
