Series Summary
Thousands of British families have moved to France, lured by the promise of a better life in a rural paradise. Mark and Amanda have quit the madness of the music biz to raise chickens and children in the Dordogne. But for some, the dream is a nightmare.
Paddy and Nell face financial ruin as the interest rates rise and their unsold house plummets in value. Pat Atkinson's vineyard is under threat at harvest time while the Cavender family plan to rent out there house as financial collapse looms. The highs and lows are tracked as spring turns to summer.
