Series 8 | Episode 19 | B-Boy Championships World Series - Japan

Japan BBoys

The B-boy championship heads to the land of the rising sun, where the B-boying scene has gone from strength to strength. Like the Koreans, the Japanese have embraced the B-boy way of life, and brought a unique cultural flavour to it. Expect to see martial arts moves flowing seamlessly into classic B-boy moves, combined with an almost balletic flexibility in the power moves.

  1. Damn I missed this years. Didn't even know it was on Channel 4. Thank god for replays and the tinternet. Just wish they'd put it on at a reasonable night time rather than the mornings. 8am...christ most peeps are still in bed. I'm a 40 year old old skool veteran but still love my bboying. These guys should have an Olympic event for this. Some Gymnasts would struggle to compete with the balance and agility these guys (and girls) have. More of this exciting stuff please channel 4. What about a Britcore Hip Hop Documentary. Not yer cheezy Dizzie Rascal stuff. Real UK underground Sh*T.
