Series 1 Summary
The renowned Boston psychiatrist and Cheers regular has come home. Recently divorced, Frasier is back in Seattle living with his dad, Marty. They share a home with Daphne, his father's charming physical therapist, and Eddie, his father's charismatic Jack Russell. Throw in a fierce sibling rivalry with younger brother Niles, and it's no wonder Frasier's in a spot of psychiatric bother...
Episode 1 - The Good Son
After moving back to Seattle to start his career as a radio psychiatrist, Frasier's disabled father Martin moves into his luxury apartment along with his physical therapist, Daphne, and Eddie the dog.
Episode 2 - Space Quest
While trying to adjust to life with his new housemates, Frasier spends the day searching for a quiet place to read his book
Episode 3 - Dinner at Eight
Frasier and Niles decide to take Martin out for a high-class meal but instead end up at his favourite restaurant - the Timber Mill House of Beef
Episode 4 - I Hate Frasier Crane
Frasier becomes the target of a hate campaign organised by a local newspaper columnist and Martin and Daphne encourage him to fight back
Episode 5 - Here's Looking at You
When Martin meets a woman while tinkering with his telescope, Frasier encourages the romance, only to find his father is suddenly hesitant
Episode 6 - The Crucible
When Frasier learns that a painting he loves is a fake, he worries he might be 'shallow'
Episode 7 - Call Me Irresponsible
Frasier speaks to a male caller who is cheating on his girlfriend and advises him to break up with her. When the girlfriend arrives at the station to confront Frasier, he ends up dating her.
Episode 8 - Beloved Infidel
Martin and an old family friend have an emotional meeting that makes Frasier and Niles wonder if Martin had an affair when they were kids

Frasier signs with an agent, Bebe Glaser, and she convinces him to do commercial endorsements

Frasier passes on some gossip, which unfortunately leads to his colleague Bulldog losing his job

Frasier becomes obsessed with his mortality after the death of a fellow doctor who was the same age as him

Frasier disappointment is aimed at his family when his son's visit for Christmas is cancelled. He ends up spending Christmas day at the radio station rather than being at home.

Frasier upsets Martin when he reveals details of his love life on air

Frasier agrees to be a 'biddable date' at a celebrity charity auction and is thrilled when a beautiful model outbids the rest of the room for him

Frasier claims he can always recognise a criminal - until he and Daphne are fooled by a convincing ex-con
Episode 16 - The Show Where Lilith Comes Back
After finding a long-lost letter of reconciliation from Frasier, Lilith comes to Seattle and tries to rekindle their relationship
