Four Rooms dealer Gordon Watson was online after the final episode chatting live on Twitter and Facebook with you all. Here's a transcript of the chat:

Twitter:

Q: @andrewtiny:
Who do you find most annoying on the show?
A: @GordonWatson1:
I find Jeffrey most annoying but I'm probably jealous #fourrooms

Q: @l_mitchell:
Where the hell do people buy such weird and macabre items?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Excuse me, are you an expert? The world is a very, very varied and wonderful place

Q: @EBedford93:
Gordon what have you bought that you never ever wanted to sell on?
A: @GordonWatson1:
I have to be totally honest - there is nothing apart from my dog Zak that I wouldn't sell instantly

Q: @AnnieWanKenobi:
Ever entered a Phil Jupitus lookalike competiton? You'd so win.
A: @GordonWatson1:
Yes well if they don't do a second series I might need to win some prize money - thanks for the tip

Q: @The_phyth:
Hello Gordon. I love the picture in your room. Can you tell me about it please? Thks Nicki x
A: @GordonWatson1:
£7,800+ VAT at 20% for picture in my room

Q: RachelFKPeters:
Is there anything you haven't been able to sell?
A: @GordonWatson1:
No, it's not my style to be desperate... unlike some of the others

Q: @allyjarv1980
Hi Gordon how much does the sellers pitch influence yr offer or how much u want an item?

A: @GordonWatson1:
Generally the seller's pitch is a turn off for me. I know what I want but sometimes their arrogance annoys me.

Q: @MrMarkOsborne:
Gordon is there one particular piece of artwork that you would like to own and why?
A: @GordonWatson1:
I would most like to own a painting by the fantastic Spanish artist Zuberan - I'm bewitched by his oeuvre

Q: @kris1471:
Did the dealers all know each other before the show?
A: @GordonWatson1:
I knew everyone before. The antique world at the top end is quite a small place, particularly for 20th century specialists

Q: @smeeeff:
What's the most extravagant item that you've bought and sold?
A: @GordonWatson1:
I bought a cashmere and the rarest, now banned, textile in the world 'shatoosh' sleeping back made by Hermes

Q: @deanmansell
Absolutely love #fourrooms how did you get started in antiques/dealing?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Every birthday and holiday I wanted old pieces of silver. It's the only thing I've been interested in all my life

Q: @The_Demetriou:
Do you go out for beers with the other dealers or is it all strictly business?
A: @GordonWatson1:
The powers that be kept us separate in purdah, but we did secretly meet up.

Q: @clare_stubbs:
Is it a challenge pricing up one-of-a-kind items? And how to you come to a figure in cases such as this?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Yes, totally. It's the most challenging part of the whole show. I love it.

Q: @Angies131:
I think you have been the most generous in your offers throughout the series. Do you still make a good profit?
A: @GordonWatson1:
I've been in the business for over 30yrs and dare I say it, I really have made a success of it

Q: @RachelFKPeters:
Do you only deal in the luxurious or do you have items for all price ranges?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Funnily enough, we sold 3 lamps today for £1000 each and I was surprised we had anything of that figure.

Q: @Fefyuk:
Is the banter between you and @JeffSalmon just a front and are you secretly best buddies?!
A: @GordonWatson1:
Look, I have known Jeffrey for over 30yrs. We get on but no one can irritate me more

Q: @clare_stubbs:
If there was one item that could come through the door, what would it be? Love the show btw :)
A: @GordonWatson1:
The mood I'm in now? A Cartier crystal and diamond Mystery clock, because I'm the only one who'd know it's true value.

Q: @smeeeff:
Are you all going to continue tweeting now #fourrooms has finished?
A: @GordonWatson1: Shall I....? Do you want me to? Not over until the fat lady sings.

Q: @marcjerrard
Congrats on the mummied mermaid. It's fantastic! Is it the ugliest thing you've ever bought though?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Listen, I don't buy ugly things. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Send me a snap of yourself.

Q: @shell23:
I'm planning on winning the Euromillions jackpot this evening. How much for your mermaid love?
A: @GordonWatson1:
You can buy the mermaid for 1% of the jackpot.

Q: @AlanOrgan:
Would you be up for a new series if Channel 4 give green light?
A: @GordonWatson1:
If C4 gave the green light and I was paid a decent salary... yes... maybe

Q: @jonnyboytweeter:
Is there an item you have wanted to keep but sold?
A: @GordonWatson1:
When I buy something my initial love is the keep the piece. That soon passes when the bills come in.

Q: @eccygem:
Do you stand by your tactic of always asking a seller to name their price? does it backfire sometimes?
A: @GordonWatson1:
That's the way I deal. What you see is what you get. I don't play games and I know what I'm going to pay

Q: @Mafuuuuuuu
Whats your worst and best buys?? and do you ever just impulse buy??
A: @GordonWatson1:
Every dealer has an impulse buy, mine were the Very Miss Dusty O's collection of Vivienne Westwood hats... CHAPEAUX!

Q: @stekallee:
*curtseys* what - apart from that vile chair abommination earlier is the most horrendous thing someone ever tried to sell you?
A: @GordonWatson1:
There is nothing in the world that matches that piece. Why did I offer £1200? I really felt sorry for Gigi.

Q: @gemmadoylexo:
Well done on the mermaid, can i ask what you will be doing with it?
A: @GordonWatson1:
At this very moment I'm applying lots of sun lotion because I'm taking her on holiday with me.

Q: @lucky_93:
You often seemed to lose out on items you really wanted, which loss annoyed you the most?
A: @GordonWatson1:
All losses annoy me - I like to win. However, the Gilbert & George piece really pissed me off.

Q: @stekallee:
Good evening, I'm curious: what was the first ever item you bought and sold as a dealer?
A: @GordonWatson1:
First item was a Georgian Irish silver salt cellar. I was 15yrs old and so regret selling it.

Q: @GoldielocksCRO:
Do you think in this economy people can start in antiques and earn a living?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Yes you can, but sadly I think it's much harder than it's ever been. Rent, rates, insurance and paucity of goods.

Q: @BlackpoolNorth:
What will you do now the series is over?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Dearest. I do have another life believe it or not!

Q: @AlanOrgan:
Gordon - what is the best deal that got away - ie that you missed out on?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Six beautiful extraordinary paintings by Peter Doig. They would be worth well over £10million today.

Q: @doilys:
In all your years of dealing, what is your most memorable piece and why?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Most memorable piece - when I was 23 I found an amazing Tibetan hanging which I sold to the V&A. The huge profit began my career.

Q: @CeriJade:
Was the entire series filmed in one day? (you're all wearing same clothes) tiring day?
A: @GordonWatson1:
VERY VERY VERY silly.

Q: @ChrisTaylorII:
Great work on #fourrooms Doubt that you'll share, but I'll ask-Which item did you make the most profit on bought on the show?
A: @GordonWatson1:
Rephrase to which item will you make the most profit on...the BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS..and the Amonite.

Facebook:

Q: Proinsias Carr:
How much time have the dealers got to research the items after they see it?
A: Gordon says:
We have minimum of half an hour but if Jeffrey is in the room it can be a day!

Q: John Mabon:
What's been the one item throughout the whole series you wish you got but missed out on?
A: Gordon says:
It's a toss up between the Gilbert & George piece or the gold and bone false teeth.

Q: Sally-Ann Fawcett:
Will this series be released on DVD?
A: Gordon says:
It's in the lap of the gods.

Q: Vinny Baker:
Can i please have some money Gordon?
A: Gordon says:
Of course, dear. Anything you say, dear... Bye dear.

Q: Eddy Watts:
Have you ever regretted not buying an item, either on the show or not?
A: Gordon says:
One of the biggest regrets of my life was in the early 90s not buying when I had the opportunity to buy six beautiful extraordinary paintings by Peter Doig. They were at the Whitechapel Art Gallery and they were all for sale. They would be worth well over £10million today.

Q: Shaun Davin:
Gordon....favourite acquisition of yours in your career so far!
A: Gordon says:
Buying the most beautiful jewels at the Duchess of Windsor sale in Geneva many years ago, and selling them all within 12 hours.

Q: Lee Redfern:
Do you think a lot of them who come on the show are just to greedy and don't relise what they are selling
A: Gordon says:
Good question. I think, in retrospect, that being on TV in front of the cameras makes people become delusional and dare I say it GREEDY.

Q: Nicola Warren:
Have you sold the mermaid? And if so, how much for?
A: Gordon says:
No I haven't sold her because I'm having a beautiful bronze mount made for her. I'll let you know.

Q: Jonathan Walley:
Have you had a celebritiy approach you to sell an item?
A: Gordon says:
As I mainly deal with 'celebrities', I'm constantly selling to and buying from them so the answer is a resounding yes.

Q: Sue George:
What was the worst item someone brought in?
A: Gordon says:
The collection of football programmes.

Q: Liam Sanderson:
Which of the dealers is the wealthiest?
A: Gordon says:
You are a very very cheeky young man. Dream on.

Q: Kirsty 'Storm' Cooper:
Have you ever bought Disney memorabilia?
A: Gordon says:
No

Q: Ziad Al-Zee:
How do you start as a dealer from scratch because you cant buy a rare item without good money! help please
A: Gordon says:
That is really the problem now. In the old days there were always extraordinary pieces to discover for very little that you could sell for a lot. But the world today is a much more sophisticated place. It's hard.
