Q: @divinechaosart:
Hi Emma. What is the strangest item that you have bought?
A: @emmahawkins4:
My double-headed calf might be seen to be strange, or at least intriguing.

Q: @Juejuicy:
Where are ur leather jeans from that ur wearing on tonight's show?
A: @emmahawkins4:
My trousers are from Jitrois in London.

Q: GSheach:
I have to ask, are the chairs in Emma's room bespoke or commercially available? I think they're incredible!
A: @emmahawkins4:
The chairs in my room vary but they are commercially available.

Q: @The_phyth:
If you weren't a dealer what do you think you would be doing?
A: @emmahawkins4:
I've never really thought of doing anything else - dealing is in my family.

Q: @Saltern:
Did you buy any of Mr Potter's Museum of Curiosities from Jamaica Inn when sold in 2003?
A: @emmahawkins4:
Yes I bought lots from Mr Potter's Museum of Curiosities. I've now sold most of it except for one piece.

Q: @thomasessex:
What item have you most regretted buying and what item have you most regretted not buying?
A: @emmahawkins4:
I regret not buying a double narwhal skull and tusk, and in all good dealings there will be the occasional regret.

Q: @lauz75:
Emma have you kept any items you bought on the show? Or have you sold them all on?
A: @emmahawkins4:
I've kept some of the items from Four Rooms but sold some already.

Q: @jonnyboytweeter:
Have the other 3 dealers approached you for an item you purchased on the show afterwards?
A: @emmahawkins4:
There's a six months no inter-trading contract for six months after the show.

Q: @iam_tim:
What's the biggest bargain item that you've ever sold on?

A: @emmahawkins4:
In all dealers lives they have one major coup but I haven't had mine yet.

Q: @emmahawkins4:
Emma, what's been the cheapest item which you loved that you picked up for a total bargain?
A: @emmahawkins4:
I loved an amulet of the natural world.

Q: @jamessssstumblr:
What would you recommend someone do that wants to get into dealing? First things to buy that kind of stuff.
A: @emmahawkins4:
Test the water on things you can afford, view the sale rooms and do antique markets. Great place to start.

Q: @sal1n:
Hi. If you could have one item in the entire world in your possession what would it be?
A: @emmahawkins4:
A real dodo - but there isn't one in existence.

Q: @baptywallowitz:
Emma, what happened to Claudia the sea turtle? I loved her.
A: @emmahawkins4:
Claudia is all repaired and back to her full glory. She's on display in Jam in Pimlico, London.

Q: @budgetjett:
Where do you get your rings from? They're fabulous :)
A: @emmahawkins4:
My rings are from Solange Azagury-Partridge.

Q: @jonnyboytweeter:
Have you purchased any items from any famous celebrities?
A: @emmahawkins4:
Not purchased, but I have sold items to famous celebrities.

Q: @Nickpj2424:
Love the show! What happens with the items you buy after the show?
A: @emmahawkins4:
The items that can fit in go to my shop in Dover Street in London, the others go to other retail spaces.

Q: @sgavy:
I'm looking for a long term investment. something quirky, what type of item?
A: @emmahawkins4:
Go for something you love, it has to be something that you enjoy - really an unanswerable question.

Q: @erinbuckers:
Emma, where did you get your boots from? They're lovely. Whats the most expensive item you have dealt with?
A: @emmahawkins4:
My boots are from Collette Dinnigan in London.

Q: @liam_black:
Hi Emma do you offer work experience?

A: @emmahawkins4:
Sadly not. I'm too small a company and have always worked on my own - it's just me.

Q: @bipolarbear_:
Do you have a favourite item you wouldn't sell and if so what is it?
A: @emmahawkins4:
I wouldn't sell some of my rare animal skulls.

Q: @craigmarks18:
What would your favourite item to come into Four Rooms be?
A: @emmahawkins4:
I'd love to see someone with something unique, quirky and probably from the natural world.

Q: @HomeSoEasy:
Emma, what item from any point in history would you most like to trade and why?
A: @emmahawkins4:
The dates that I already trade in interest me most - pre-Victorian taxidermy.

Q: @Fjar:
How far is a successful career in dealing down to an innate sense or a natural 'good eye'?
A: @emmahawkins4:
I think you need to have both an innate sense and a natural good eye to be a good dealer - both very important.

Q: @mmpegg:
What would you consider the most controversial piece you've ever bought?
A: @emmahawkins4:
I try not to be controversial.

Facebook:

Q: Stephen Pickering:
Is it harder to sell an item you've bought on the show because clients who have seen the programme will know what you paid for it?
A: Emma says:
Visibility on the show can affect the price but you have to look at the bigger picture. With auction and internet people are often more aware of prices and values anyway.

Q: Paul Thecarpman Greenfield:
Do you think the sellers look upon you as a weaker buyer as youre a young woman compared to the older men?
A: Emma says:
I think once they start negotiation they understand we're equal as dealers.

Q: Heather Clayson:
What was your first taxidermied item and how much did you pay?
A: Emma says:
My first taxidermy item was a giraffe that my father gave to me, it was a gift.

Q: Vicky Marshall:
Do you get time to research how much items are worth/have previously been sold for before you buy them?
A: Emma says:
We get between 40 minutes and 3 hours to research the item depending on the order the seller goes to each room.

Q: Gemma Graham:
Hi Emma, what inspired you to become a dealer in the first place? :)
A: Emma says:
My father is a dealer and being part of the process I just knew it was in my gut and the career for me.

Q: David Mantle:
How much would a stuffed hedgehog be worth? Do you have any for sale?
A: Emma says:
I don't have a hedgehog at the moment but value would depend on who it was done by. It's hard to put a specific value on it.

Q: Humaira Raza:
What do you love most about your work? Its a very fascinating job.
A: Emma says:
I love my job because I never stop learning. I also meet interesting people and deal with interesting objects.

Q: Tanya Mckenzie:
When did you develop a fascination with creepy objects and what sort of person buys that sort of stuff?
A: Emma says:
The natural world is something we live in and amongst everyday and there's nothing that creepy about it. The people I meet are very interesting.

Q: Ben Hagger:
Why do you four always wear the same clothes throughout filming? Is it due to all the items you see being mixed up when broadcasted?
A: Emma says:
We are always wearing the same clothes so the producers could coordinate the right order of items to make the show work for the viewer.

Q: Pete Clarke:
Do you ever buy things on Four Rooms for yourself, as opposed to buying to sell on?
A: Emma says:
I will always aim to sell everything I buy on the show but happy to live with things that I buy.
