There's adventure and family fun on Channel 4 this Christmas. Lovers of action can sit back and enjoy one of British cinema's cult classics, The Italian Job, starring Michael Caine and three very nippy Minis.
Also screening are Romancing the Stone, with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner in pursuit of a precious stone through Central America, and Dick Tracy with Warren Beatty as the eponymous private eye and Madonna as Breathless Mahoney.
In the western The Quick and The Dead, Gene Hackman sets up a deadly gun-slinging competition, while in The Battle of the Bulge, Robert Shaw and Robert Ryan are the opponents in one of World War II's decisive tank battles.
Families can enjoy Family Man, starring Nicolas Cage as a Wall Street banker who suddenly finds he's living a different life, while in Aquamarine, Sara Paxton plays a mermaid who falls for a hunky lifeguard. In Baby's Day Out, three inept kidnappers find themselves outsmarted by the toddler they've snatched, and in Three Men and a Baby, Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson find themselves up to their elbows in nappies.
