Autumn offerings on Channel 4 are headlined by four critically acclaimed, award-winning films. Ken Loach's BIFA-winning Film4 comedy drama Looking for Eric stars Steve Evets as a postman whose life is falling apart until he finds inspiration from his idol (and co-star) Eric Cantona. Also from Film4, the BAFTA-winning In Bruges stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson as two hitmen forced to lie low in Bruges until their boss Ralph Fiennes decides on their fate.

The Coen Brothers' Oscar-laden No Country for Old Men stars Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones and Javier Bardem in a pursuit thriller tinged by underlying sadness. And Ellen Page stars in the Oscar-winning Juno as the eponymous teen heroine, pregnant and not quite sure where her best choice lies.

In Jumper, Hayden Christensen and Jamie Bell play teleporters, able to cross time and space, who find themselves hunted by Samuel L Jackson. Transformers is Michael Bay's action romp based on the shape-changing robots, while in 27 Dresses, Katherine Heigl plays a woman unlucky in love until she crosses paths with James Marsden. And in the spoof comedy Meet the Spartans, King Leonidas (Sean Maguire) leads his army (of 13 men) into battle.
