Farrah Fawcett was the beautiful Texan who shot to fame in Charlie's Angels and then turned to serious acting in the 1980s.
She was also a pop culture figure whose style was emulated by millions of young women and whose poster sales broke records, making her an international sex symbol in the 1970s and 1980s.
Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, and began treatment, including chemotherapy and surgery. She died in June 2009 with long time partner Ryan O'Neal by her side.
