Extreme Male Beauty

Series 1 | Episode 2 | Extreme Male Beauty

Watch this episode now on 4oD Tim Shaw

Having spent two weeks trying to increase the size of his pecs, Tim turns to a more personal project - getting a bigger penis.

Penis enlargement ops are hugely on the increase, and Tim sits in on the very latest procedure, in which a man has an artificial filler - previously used for boob jobs - injected into the shaft of his penis. Tim also tries out a variety of gadgets and exercises that claim to make the penis bigger, from pumps to stretchers, and heads to the locker room for an all-male chat to find out if the average man is worried about the size of his manhood.

We also meet 33-year-old Edward Evans, who has never had a girlfriend and is looking for love. Having lost 17 stone, he needs radical surgery to take away all the sagging skin and give him the confidence to find romance.

More guys strip off and reveal their buff bodies as they battle it out to become the new cover star for male grooming bible Men's Health.

  1. I go to the gym most days for around 45 minutes to an hour. I work on a different muscle group every day, and on the days that I don't have time to go to the gym I do pressups at home (a quick full body workout). As a result I have a ripped and sculpted body, the way nature intended. No one has an excuse as to why they are fat or flabby.

  2. It won't be the last time you see that excess skin. It gets sent to China and turned into a leather jacket. Available in all good menswear retailers.

  5. Well just have to say I am 22 years old I work my ass off at the gym about 5 times a week, have done so from since I was about 18, I am naturaly slim and I still have an inch or so of lower belly fat ! I also eat carefuly, so I don't buy it when those men's health cover star hopefuls stand there and say "duaa I eat home cooked meals my mum makes and go to gym 3 times a week !" NOOOO WAY IN HELL, they should stop lying and tell the truth I should think to have the bodys they have they never leave the gym and have EXTREMLY controled deits, as their muscle to body fat ratios are far beyoned the natural healthy human male.

  7. Tim Shaw, Some men are never satisfied. 7.5 inches and you are trying to make it bigger? I am 6 feet 3 inches tall and sport only 5.25 inches and that is OK with me. You are what you are and you should be content with that.

  8. My wife and i watched episode 2 together and after the locker room discussion it would seem that the erect penis is 7" or over. She then trawled the internet to get some facts and came to the conclusion that the average is more like 5-6", interesting. She then asked me how big mine was (after 19 years of marriage), she estimated 8" out came the tape measure, result 7.5" Ok bigger than average but so what. We come in all different shapes and sizes and we married each other for the whole package and after 21 years of being together we KNOW what turns each other on. For the record her first sexual partner had a reputation for being well endowed did that make him better than me-No she married me. Asked if she would like me to make it bigger, reply same as Tim got from his wife-i love you the way you are. Tim knew he was bigger than average and loved to show it off, as for the locker room claim of 10" you believe what you see. He was like a little kid in class-can i be next, please ask me how big mine is!

  9. After watching embarrassing body's and the sex education show on channel 4, which did eveything to dispel our fears an phobias i find it hard to believe they would allow a programme like this to to be shown, with an agenda of putting inebriated woman on to degrade men, and then go on to heighten mens penis anxiety's from start to finish, i hope the woman that participated and the makers of that programme are very proud of themselves.

  10. The presenter should realize that whats more important than size (which all men focuses on far too much) is how attractive the genitals are as a whole. The presenter seems to get his long dangly foreskinned penis out at any chance he can, His appendage is not what I find aesthetically pleasing so I do find myself looking away & missing what would otherwise be a good programme.

  11. I thought that this episode was a little bit silly in it's approach but i thought that he nailed male beauty on the head. You need an arrogance about your persona, if you have it flaunt it hence everyone had 7 inches plus in the locker room and if you don't make sure you stay in the closet ! Also they were rugby players, lets be honest all that testosterone your bound to have larger penii. Also it is rather transparent that the ridiculously hairy overweight man with no muscle deffinition finally found an attribute about himself that is admireable. He was flaunting it. This was his metaphorical payback for being laughed at in the previous episode.

  12. This could have been a very educational show, which could have done something to provide reassurance to the majority of men who are within a normal penis size band, and support and advice to those who do not (either who have encountered problems from a penis that is too large or too small). Unfortunately, this show did not do that. It promoted (if anything) unrealistic concepts of what average penis size really is and would have given unnecessary worries to many men and growing teens. It also disrespected people's bodies - having a group of men stand behind a screen, faces blocked out and with only their penises on display, while inebriated women laughed at them was cruel and depersonalising. Viewers would rightly be unimpressed if a responsible programme made 5 women stand behind cut-outs of only their breasts and vagina exposed, to be laughed at by a pack of drunk men. The same is inappropriate when the subject is men.

  13. Come on woman are not stupid, we could all see they were bigger than average , it was all about big Tim using this programme to show his off. his wfe knew why he was doing it and the look on her face said it all grow up Tim. Programmes like this woman have had to put up with about there breast size i guess its mens turn now.

  14. I was looking forward to this series but Tim doesn't come across as particularly likeable or objective in his search for the'facts'. His mentioning of his 'small' willy' just got irritating. I've seen plenty of male members in my time his (and all but one guy's in the line-up) is bigger than average when flaccid, and 7.5"-8" erect can definitely be considered large. The locker-room discussion only went to prove the existence of the 'penis inch' which is apparently smaller than the regualr inch, hence one man claimed to have 10" (which is exactly twice the average erect penis size)and another also claimed to be 7.5". Obviously not impossible, but quite unlikely that out of that small group of men, half of them were that large. I'm a very modest size myself, dead on average and have no shame about it. I just find it funny that so many guys still feel the need to exaggerate, and disappointing that this program went no way to give guys more confidence about their penis size, but instead actually gave the impression that average is not good enough (only the circumcised penis was anything near average, 'Mr Average' was actaully quite large for a flaccid penis!).

  15. The first episode was good but this was mostly pointless gratuitous willy shots. His language and sample group implied pretty much everyone should be over 7". As far as I'm aware thats not exactly the average. It's just going to give people a complex. The surgery chat just seemed similarly biased. The only way to get rid of excess skin after losing mases of weight and to really lose man boobs is with surgery. You'd have thought it should be working to reduce peoples neurosis rather than expand them.

  16. Yes i have to say after watching the 2nd episode, if any man didn't have willy worries after seeing that they may have now. However i think it should just be taken for what it was a peep show for woman and not to be taken to seriously

  17. I was baffled when the well endowed presenter kept going on about the size of his "winkle"! 7.5inches is hardly below average - in fact significantly above!Enough to get us "lesser" men booking an appointment with a surgeon. If you weren't insecure before you certainly would be after watching this programme!

  18. Once again you have to ask why they make these types of programs, watching it with a few woman and in there words He could not get his penis out enough , he clearly knew he was bigger than average an just wanted to show it off. And to have aload of woman who had all clearly been drinking making comments about the penis was in poor taste. I am all for male programs that help men to look after themselves from head to foot as long as there constructive and thought out, woman have many programs about there bodys so im not just a moaning man , i have know doubt there will be many more programs on the body for men and woman, but plese do them with a bit of style.

  19. I really really enjoyed this program. Was unsure bout it when i saw it advertised but was actually quite impressed. People seem to emphasise on how women look and their size so it was a nice change to put men in the spotlight! I used to work in a strongman gym and have seen men of all different shapes and sizes. I think what men also need to realise though is that you can be any size, as long as your healthy. I also think its good to encourage men to get off their bums and do something lol. the only thing i was slightly disappointed in though, was the portrail of the strongman / gym scene. You dont have to be on the gear to do it, and i think this puts alot of men off. I no many guys who compete and train clean, you just have to be willing to put the hard work in :D

  20. Really enjoyed the first episode and looking forward to the rest of the series. However, having browsed through the accompanying web pages on Channel4.com I am disappointed that there isn't a section and/or links to sites providing information (diet and exercise, etc.) for those of us who want to start getting fit and improve our appearance! If anyone can point me to a good site that provides a day-by-day/step-by-step guide for beginners, then I would be very grateful. Many thanks!

  21. i think its about time they took a look at how us blokes feel. i have been trying to change the way i look all my life as i felt i have never fit in. its funny how the world sees you and how other people react to the different ways you look. not liking the outside of me has changed the inside needing mental health experts to pick up the pieces. im sure many men will be watching this and saying so im not mad everyone feels like it. the way you see yourself in the mirror is very different than the way others see you, my wife and family love me and think i look fine but they dont know what i go through just to get out of bed and look at myself...its like some sort of desease only you can see and changing it seems impossible, if you saw me you wouldnt have a clue as i look the same as you do....so they say....

  26. Enjoyed the programme and thought Tim was a good presenter. He should listen to his wife.... he's a nice looking guy and he doesn't need to do too much to firm up a bit. What worries me though is the really bad personal training he's getting. The training programme he's on doesn't look structured, the technique he's using to train looks disastrous and uncoordinated and I'm worried he's going to hurt himself by lifting weights that are too big too soon. Ditch that ridicuous chest expander and find a proper trainer! I'm 52 and have been going to the gym for over 15 years. I'm in proportion and can tell you there's no mystery to looking good, it just takes sensible diet and exercise and most of all sticking to that. Boring for some I know but that's the truth.

  28. For most of my adult life I have been 5-6 stone overweight. I decided at 45 to do something about it and went on Lighterlife and lost 6.5 stone. This gave me a BMI of 18 and I looked terrible. I had no muscle bulk at all b BUT neither did I have a belly. I am now at the gym twice a week, and run on the road a couple of time a week. I have put on about 2 stone of muscle but unfortunately a a bit of belly as well. BMI is now about 25. I don't care what anyone says the belly is not easy to shift as you get older. I really don't think I can get shot of it with gym and exercise alone, unless I become underweight and then look ghastly. I have very little fat on my limbs or butt, just the belly / lower torso. It seems that is always going to be my problem area. I for one would consider some lipo to get rid of the belly and maybe a bit of double chin. Its strange though. When I was grossly overweight I never saw it in the mirror or in my head, now I see myself as fat even though I am still over 4st lighter and 200% fitter. What's that about?

  31. Really great show to watch. It illustrates the fears and thoughts of men that have never been talked about on a show so honestly before. Im a little confused with the people who appear on the show who say that they arent happy with how they look but then go appearing naked on national tv. Surely that takes a lot of confidence? No amount of money would make me do that if I ever wasnt comfortable with my body. But anyways great show!!

  32. What a delight of programme. It shows exactly what we all fear...we do get fat, old, saggy and with bits and pieces hanging. Im a 40 year old man who doesn't drink, non smoker, work hard but have no time to exercise...no time? not really, time we make it. I just think that going to gym is so boring. It would do me a lot of good if i loose a few pounds, but how? doing what? eating what? When i was younger i used to swim, but now...the weather doesn't help much either... Looking forward to seeing the next programmes coming. Well done. All the best J.

  33. Why do people insist on having surgery to fix their weight problem, it takes hard work in the gym and you need to repair yourself from the inside out after years of abusing your body. I also read in the paper that the journalist who did this documentary said he doesn't really feel any better for improving himself. What a load of crap, it's about time men felt under pressure to look a certain way, he looked awful before, now he looks passable. His wife was lovely to say she liked him just the way he was, but please, any woman would prefer their husbands to take care of themselves just the way they expect us to.
