Tom Stubbs is a well-known menswear stylist and writer. Despite having trained in the design of womenswear, he started his career working in men’s retail before joining the fledgling Loaded magazine in the mid-nineties, eventually becoming fashion editor.
Tom went on to become fashion director at Maxim, wrote for Arena and had a column in the Sunday Times Style. He was a champion of the suit renaissance at the beginning of the decade - a trend that continues today.
Tom is fashion director of The Quarterly and now contributes to publications including the Sunday Times Style, Luxx, Finch’s Quarterly Review, O for The Observer and The Telegraph. He has lectured at the London College of Fashion and has styled celebrities including Kevin Bacon, Michael Sheen, David Beckham, Mark Ronson, Rio Ferdinand, Ray Winston and David Gray.
