Tummy Tuck
Tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty) can give you a tighter, flatter stomach and reduce the appearance of stretch marks on your lower abdomen. The operation is commonly performed to remove folds of skin left behind after losing a lot of weight and for women to tighten stretched skin and muscles after pregnancy.
It is important to note that tummy tuck surgery is not a treatment for weight control or a substitute for regular physical activity and a healthy, balanced diet.
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is a nose re-shaping operation, which can make the nose smaller, larger or to give it more bulk. Rhinoplasty can help change the size and shape of your nose. It may be done for cosmetic reasons or to restore the shape of your nose after an injury.
Liposculpture on the abdomen
Liposculpture, is also known as liposuction (suction-assisted fat removal) and lipoplasty (fat modelling), It is cosmetic surgery that removes fat from many different sites on the human body, ranging from the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, to the neck, backs of the arms and elsewhere.
Liposculpture is not a low-effort alternative to exercise and diet. It is a form of body contouring with significant risks and is not a weight loss method.
Chest reduction (Gynecomastia)
Gynecomastia, is the development of abnormally large mammary glands in males, often referred to as moobs. Breast growth is most commonly caused by obesity and anabolic steroid use but can also be due to the side effect of drugs used to suppress prostate cancer and a genetic condition like Klinefelter's Syndrome.
Cosmetic dentistry
There are a range of common cosmetic dental treatment options available:
1) Whitening (tooth bleaching) is the most common cosmetic dental procedure and is used to lighten discoloured teeth.
2) Enamel shaping removes parts of the contouring enamel to improve the appearance of the tooth, such as a very small chip.
3) Contouring (tooth reshaping) is a procedure to correct crooked teeth, chipped teeth, cracked teeth or even overlapping teeth in just one session.
4) Bonding is a process in which an enamel-like dental composite material is applied to a tooth's surface, sculpted into shape, hardened and then polished.
5) Dental bridges are effectively false teeth, which are fixed between two porcelain crowns to fill in the area left by a missing tooth. The two crowns holding it in place are attached to the teeth on each side of the false tooth.
6) Veneers are ultra-thin, custom-made laminates that are bonded directly to the teeth. They are an option for closing gaps or disguising discoloured teeth that do not respond well to whitening procedures.
7) Gum lift is a cosmetic dental procedure that raises and sculpts the gum line to create the appearance of longer or more symmetrical teeth.
Removal of bags from under the eyes (Blepharoplasty)
An eye bag removal procedure involves the removal of loose skin, surplus fatty tissue and relaxed muscle in the eyelids, which is removed to tighten the skin. The eye bag removal procedure makes the eyes look younger by smoothing and firming up the lids, reducing the hooded appearance and removing under-eye pouches.
Mini facelift Surgery
Facelift surgery is often the result of excess folds of skin on the face, resulting in saggy skin which can give a 'tired' looking appearance. Many people choose to have a face and neck lift procedure as the results are rejuvenating, giving a long-lasting firm, fresh and youthful looking appearance.
A face lift involves the removal of excess facial skin from the neck, chin and cheek areas, under general anaesthetic. The Surgeon may also tighten the underlying muscles and reposition the facial tissue. The scars will be hidden around the ears or in the hairline and will usually fade over time.
Thigh lift (Thighplasty)
A thigh lift is very effective at removing excessive skin; especially in the case of someone who has lost a vast amount of weight and is carrying unsightly folds of skin where fat used to be.
Excess skin is removed along the inner thigh area, which may extend from the inner knee to the groin area, and may carry on to the buttock area, dependant on the amount of excessive skin to be removed.
Laser eye surgery
Laser eye surgery is an effective method of correcting visual problems, often removing the constant need for glasses or contact lenses.
Doctors use a laser to permanently change the shape of the cornea, the clear covering over the coloured iris and the lens, which is just behind the pupil of the eye.
The surgery is done as an out-patient procedure and takes about an hour. Local anaesthetic drops are placed in the eye being treated.
Body hair removal
There are two types of hair removal:
1) Depilation affects the part of the hair above the surface of the skin. The most common form of depilation is shaving. Another popular option is the use of chemicals, which work by breaking the bonds that give hair its strength, making the hair disintegrate.
2) Epilation is removal of the entire hair, including the part below the skin, and is therefore longer-lasting. Methods include waxing, lasers, threading, intense pulsed light or electrology. Hair is also sometimes removed by plucking with tweezers.
Chin lift surgery
A chin lift is part of the facelift surgery and is often the result of saggy skin and an ill-defined jaw line. Many people choose to have a surgery to enhance their looks to appear more youthful.
Chest Liposuction
Chest liposuction (suction-assisted fat removal) is cosmetic surgery that removes excess fat from the chest.
Liposculpture is not a low-effort alternative to exercise and diet. It is a form of body contouring with significant risks and is not a weight loss method.
