    After WWII, Britain was desperate to remain a power alongside the USA and the USSR. In 1957 the newsreels announced that Britain had entered the thermonuclear era of the H-bomb.

  • Blue Streak

    During the Cold War, Britain invested millions in new weapons. Blue Streak was to be our own intercontinental ballistic missile, intended to carry nuclear warheads to Russia.
