An ex-army officer and a prop on the local ladies' rugby team seem an unlikely combination for the school's student support team, but Tina and Stan are a soft touch really and play a truly invaluable role in helping vulnerable students with their academic and extra-curricular problems.
With an unlimited supply of understanding, and biscuits, they are instrumental in making sure even the most challenging students finish their coursework and sit their exams.
