Series Summary
A four-part drama series based on Maeve Binchy's book, Echoes.
Castlebay in the 1950s is a typical, small Irish seaside town. Its people's ambitions and expectations are generally limited and easily achieved. But there are two children in Castlebay who dream of another life; Clare O'Brien is determined to better herself and make education her escape route, while David Power is going to be a doctor with a practice far away from his domineering mother.
