Ozzy, the two-year-old springer spaniel, has been a medical mystery since he was 13-weeks-old. His problems have stumped some of the best veterinarian minds in the country and driven his owners frantic with worry.
When out on a walk, with little warning, Ozzy can begin to shake and eventually collapse, struggling for breath. Episodes can be triggered by anything from workers to other dogs, but owner's Lauren and Matt don't know how to help.
To try to work out what's going on, vets have sent Ozzy for MRIs, spinal fluid tests, ECGs, muscle biopsies, and more – all to no avail. Lauren and Matt were desperate to help Ozzy lead a happy normal life, so they've called in the Dogs: Their Secret Lives team, to see if they can help.
