James Edwards
First in trouble at the age of 16 and has since been convicted 26 times for 57 offences, mostly for burglary. He's been with IMPACT since the scheme started two years ago an has just been sentenced for another burglary offence involving the theft of a High end mountain bike and some fine wine. He's currently on an 18 month probation order.
Shaun Markey (pictured above)
Convicted 25 times for more than 70 offences. He's been with IMPACT for over a year and during that time has committed just one relatively minor offence. He's considered to be making very good progress and is no longer considered to be a 'prolific' offender.
Derek Bray
Convicted 32 times for 139 offences. Most of his convictions are for burglary. After his latest conviction for handling stolen goods, he moved away from Bristol. Since he first started offending as a teenager he's not spent more than four months out of prison, except when he was working with the IMPACT team, he was able to stay out for seven months.
