  2. I am going through all that the programme portrayed at the moment with my daughter & grandson, social services are picking out bits of the child protection plan that is in place, to use in a report that has to go in front of a judge just because the abuser is off the scene at the moment, but has come back often and repeatedly reoffended. I as a grandparent of the child is frightened that if the child goes back to the mother, the abuser will worm his way back into her life and i will end up identifying both their bodies in a mortuary. All because social services are acting on the situation and information now. The system stinks. Please someone help me.

  3. I can't believe this is still happening. I went through a similar experience in the 70s. I repeatedly had to call out the police because I was being assaulted. Even when he had a last fling before he left us and he tried to strangle one of our daughters the police came spoke to him but left him in the house with us where he continued to terrorise us. The police failed to follow up any of the assaults. The closed family court only protects the oppressor and does nothing to protect the children.
